Los Angeles native David Alan Graf has been acting for more than three tenths of a century, gracing a variety of film, television, and theatrical productions. After a brief study of psychology, David opted for the more colorful psychology of the theatre.
"Creating a character and getting to know that person is a lot like getting to know anybody. It also has a lot to do with getting to know yourself." David's constancy to purpose and dedication to the actor's art has paid off.
His performance in the indie sleeper Bang has been lauded by critics as both satirical and disturbing. In the recent Pups, his portrayal of a humiliated bank manager held hostage by children brought the following comments from critic Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun Times:
"(A) very real unraveling persona of a man who can't believe this is happening to him. David Alan Graf's portrayal of a kindly bank manager coming apart takes us inside the bank hostage situation itself."
David is featured in the upcoming Muse Productions (American Psycho, The Virgin Suicides) release of This Girl's Life.
